A lapse of thought leads to flaws in judgement. You cover your mistakes and hope they never go public. The public ask questions and you're quick to change the subject. Failure overshadow your success and leave you open to the dumb shit. Now your names in question so you know where the blame's rested. Got you sick to your stomach like a case of indigestion. Then your friends fall back but all your enemies got suggestions. The hint of your downfall got them aroused like erections. Vultures hanging up overhead, circling the skies while the people that once supported you await your demise. They don the black suits and shift their little ties while they toast to my funeral with malice in their eyes.
All it took was a single lapse in thought. A flaw in judgement.
